Every winter, Pyeongchang’s rivers are covered with thick ice, and the Pyeongchang Trout Festival draws many visitors who brave the cold to enjoy the event. The festival primarily features ice fishing through small holes drilled in the ice, with popular activities including tent camping at the fishing site and barehand fishing. The festival also offers various winter recreational facilities, such as ice sledding, ensuring fun for both children and adults.
