Introduction
The Mudeungsan Lift Monorail is the signature facility of Jisan Recreation Area, located at the foot of Mudeungsan Mountain. It offers a healing experience amidst nature, as well as a thrilling ride. Situated at an altitude of 340 meters, the monorail provides the thrill of traversing a cliffside valley and offers a panoramic view of the city center of Gwangju and Mudeungsan Mountain. You can disembark at a midstation to visit the Octagonal Pavilion Observatory. On clear days, you can see as far as Hwasun and Naju, as well as enjoy the night view.
