Introduction
Sangseung Observation Post is a popular security tourism destination, providing a unique vantage point to observe enemy activities near the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Due to its location within the DMZ, the actual First Tunnel is inaccessible; however, a full-size model is available at the nearby Sangseung Observation Post. Visitors are required to apply seven days in advance and present identification at the post for access.

1. Individual visitor (under 25 people)
They must bring their ID card on the day of visit. (Passport and driver’s license accepted)
* Admission prohibited without an ID card (Exception: children and teenagers can enter when accompanied by adults)
2. Group of 25 people or more
Visitors must send a fax 7 days before visiting after filling out an application form from the website.
