Introduction
Double T Dining is a modern French wine dining restaurant located in Chodang-dong, Gangneung. As a restaurant specializing in set courses, it offers 10-course and 7-course menus that modernize seasonal ingredients from Gangwon with traditional French cooking methods.
This is a two-person restaurant operated by Head Chef Lee Hee-cheol, who previously worked as an Executive Sous Chef at a Michelin 2-star restaurant in Europe, and Owner Sommelier Oh Yu-seok. The two operators personally oversee the overall food and wine service, characterized by consistent curation and sophisticated service.
Currently stocking over 400 types of wine, the establishment offers more than 30 varieties by the glass using Coravin. The wine list is presented in two volumes: the Wine Archive, which examines a cellar from the perspective of terroir and origin, and the Wine Index, designed to allow selection based on flavor, evaluation, and price. Separate from the wine list, the course pairings operate along two routes: the Archive, which focuses on showcasing the diversity of various French regions, vintages, and styles, and the Atlas, which traces the contrasts and connections between different European wine cultures. Both routes are offered with 6 or 4 glasses, and a 3-glass Entry pairing is also available for a lighter experience.
It was officially listed as a White Star in the world-renowned wine guide Star Wine List. In 2026, it became the first in Korea to be selected for a Bronze Star in the 200–600 wine list category of the Star Wine List of the Year International Open, and in the same year, it was the first in the Gangwon region to be named for the Award of Excellence at the Spectator Restaurant Awards.
Equipped with a main hall and separate rooms accommodating 2 to 10 people, it is suitable for birthdays, anniversaries, family gatherings, and business meals. General reservations can be made via the reservation application, while room reservations require a separate inquiry to the restaurant. Additionally, videos showcasing the menu development, cooking, wine, and service processes are produced and presented.
