Introduction
Daegwallyeong Sheep Ranch is a privately owned ranch where sheep freely roam across an area of 205,000 ㎡. Daegwallyeong Sheep Ranch was completed in 1989 and began raising sheep in 1991. It is now regarded as Korea's number one sheep ranch. The sheep grazing field is surrounded by a 1.2 meter-long circular walkway, so visitors can view the sheep at all times during their visit. It takes about 40 minutes to walk along this path. A wooden shack located by the beginning of the walking path is a popular photo site. The sheep are put out to graze the pasture from mid-May to late October, and remain in the sheep house throughout the winter. To get a closer experience with the sheep, visitors can sign up for the feeding experience, where they can give hay to the sheep and even reach out to touch their fuzzy heads.
