The Dongducheon Special Tourist Zone is known for its diverse attractions, including the scenic Soyosan Mountain and the historical Camp Bosan area, which has transformed into a bustling shopping district. This area offers a unique blend of various ethnicities and cultures. In spring, azaleas paint Soyosan Mountain in shades of pink, while autumn brings a palette of stunning fall colors. Visitors can also explore the striking rock formations, enjoy the serene valleys, visit the Jajaeam Hermitage, and indulge in forest baths. Near Camp Casey military base in Bosan-dong, there are more than 230 establishments, including foreign cuisine restaurants, art studios, and custom-made clothing stores, reflecting the long-standing influence of the US military in the area.
