Introduction
Gijisi Juldarigi Folk Festival aims to promote the 500-year traditional folk custom of juldarigi. Juldarigi, a tug-of-war game, was started to pray for peace and fortune in the new year and to be in concord with neighbors as part of a village’s feast.
