Introduction
King Sejong The Great Museum was established in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul in memory of King Sejong and his virtues and great achievements. Officially opened to the public in October 1973 as a memorial hall, the museum is a modern structure housing an exhibition area, auditorium, research center, and reference room. The exhibition area is further divided into the Hangeul Room, Science Room, Traditional Music Room, King Sejong Art Room, and an outdoor exhibition space.
